Thank you for stopping by. I am OneHipSista, an independent producer and artist creating original beats, tracks and songs. My music is heavily influenced by 70s Motown, the Philly Sound, Disco, Jazz and East Coast boom bap, with soul and Latin/Afro vibes mixed in. My drums tend to be Hip-Hop or House and my vocals are R+B and jazz.
Creative Outlet
Making music brings me life. A track can begin with a single sound. A bass sample. A chord progression. Then I build my drums and layers and the next thing you know, I have a groove. I discovered the ability to make music later in life so my goal is not to fit into any contemporary genre, but only to create the music that is in me.
